How Dawai works
One request, real replies, and a pickup you can plan.
- 1
Send one request
Name the medicine and choose your area, or a radius around you.
- 2
Eligible pharmacies receive it
Verified, active pharmacies near you receive the request. A response is never guaranteed.
- 3
Responding pharmacies report availability
Each pharmacy that replies reports Available, Partial or Not available for what you asked for.
- 4
Reserve, then pick it up
Reserve the response you want. The pharmacy prepares it and you collect it in person.
In Lebanon a medicine is not always available at the nearest pharmacy. Dawai exists so you can check before you travel, instead of driving to five pharmacies to find out.
Everything the patient app actually does
You ask, nearby pharmacies answer, and you decide where to go.
Standard requests
Say what you need and when — today, tomorrow, or flexible.
Urgent requests
A shorter request flow, clearly marked and prioritised for pharmacies.
Your area or a radius
Pick a Lebanese city and district, or search within a radius around you.
Responses you can compare
See what each responding pharmacy reported, side by side.
Closest, distance and Directions
Sort by the closest pharmacy, see how far it is, and open Directions in your maps app.
Reserve and pick up
Reserve a response, see the hold window and pickup status, then collect it yourself.
Dawai brings nearby medicine requests to your pharmacy.
You see what patients near you are looking for, and you answer only when you can.
Nearby requests
Requests from patients in your area arrive in your queue.
Urgent first
Urgent requests are shown first, in red, so they are impossible to miss.
Review the medicines
See the medicines and quantities requested before you answer.
Answer per medicine
Report Available, Partial or Not available for each line.
Reservation details
When a patient reserves, you see the medicine and the pickup information.
Your identity and status
Your verified pharmacy identity and opening status are shown to patients.
Dawai never knows, tracks or synchronises your inventory.

What we can honestly promise
Only claims the product actually supports today.
Pharmacies are reviewed before they can respond
A pharmacy account is reviewed and activated by the Dawai team before it can receive requests or answer them.
Your request stays minimal
A responding pharmacy sees the medicines, your city or district, and the timing — not your name, phone number, email or account.
Location is used for matching only
If you search by radius, your location is used to find nearby pharmacies. Your exact coordinates are not shared with pharmacies.
No sale and no payment in Dawai
Dawai is free for patients, never sells medicine and never takes payment. You pay the pharmacy directly, in person.
Dawai is not emergency medical care
Dawai helps you locate medicine availability. In an emergency, contact emergency services or a doctor.
One-time code sign-in
Accounts sign in with a one-time code — there is no password to leak.
Receive medicine requests from patients near you
- No inventory upload, sync or integration
- Answer only the requests you can serve
There is no public pharmacy sign-up. Get in touch and our team will set your pharmacy up.
English, Arabic and French
The app and this website are fully trilingual, and Arabic reads right to left throughout.
- Switch language at any time — the whole interface follows.
- Lebanese cities and districts, or a radius around where you are.
Questions, answered plainly
If something is not supported yet, it is not promised here.
For patients
Does Dawai deliver medicine?
No. Dawai is not a delivery service. It helps you find out which nearby pharmacies have your medicine so you can reserve it and pick it up yourself.
Can I buy medicine through the app?
No. There is no checkout and no payment in Dawai. You pay the pharmacy directly when you collect your medicine.
Is availability guaranteed?
No. A response reflects what a pharmacy reported at that moment, and it can change. Not every pharmacy that receives a request will answer, and a response is never guaranteed.
How does reservation work?
You reserve one pharmacy response for pickup. Dawai shows you the reservation status and the hold window, the pharmacy prepares the medicine, and you collect it in person.
What is an Urgent request?
Urgent is a shorter request flow for when you need a medicine right away. It is clearly marked in red and prioritised for pharmacies. It does not guarantee an immediate reply, and Dawai is not emergency medical care.
Is my location private?
Your location is used to match your request with nearby pharmacies. Responding pharmacies see your city or district, not your exact coordinates, and not your name or phone number.
For pharmacies
How can a pharmacy join?
Contact us. There is no public sign-up — the Dawai team creates, reviews and activates each pharmacy account before it can receive requests or answer them.
Do I have to upload my inventory?
No. Dawai never knows, tracks, uploads or synchronises your inventory. You answer each request from what you actually have at that moment.
How do requests, responses and reservations work?
Medicine requests from patients near you arrive in your queue, with Urgent requests shown first. You review the medicines and report Available, Partial or Not available for each one. When a patient reserves your response, you see the pickup information so you can prepare it.
Is Dawai a delivery platform?
No. Dawai is not delivery, checkout, payment or e-commerce, and it is not an online pharmacy. Patients always collect their medicine from you in person.
